Michael Loceff was a writer and story editor on La Femme Nikita during all five seasons of the series. He is credited with writing 24 episodes of the series, the most of any other writer. He also served as story editor and executive story editor from seasons 2 through five. He was employed as a long time professor of computer science at Foothill College in Los Altos Hill, California.
He is the cousin of La Femme Nikita creative consultant Joel Surnow. The two worked together on his following series, '24'. As part of the producing team of that series, he won a 2006 Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series.
