History[]
Robert Corliss is a Section One Valentine operative who is assigned to Michael's blood cover wife Elena Vacek, when her father's terrorist organization reemerges. His assignment is to build a bond with her while Section simultaneously plants intel to suggest that she was instrumental in Salla Vacek's murder. Section plans to use Elena as bait to lure out the true suspected leader of the resurgent group, Salla Vacek's brother and Elena's uncle Stefan Vacek.
Michael is instructed to give Corliss advice on how to break through Elena's reluctancy to engage in a relationship with him. Nikita is also instructed to reconnect with Elena as her friend and Michael's "cousin of sorts" and encourage her to move on from her mourning and open heart to another man
Michael kills Corliss at a critical point in a mission during a confrontation with Stefan Vacek.
