Rocco Matteo was the Production Designer for the series La Femme Nikita.
For his work on La Femme Nikita was nominated for a Gemini Award in 1998 for Best Production Design or Art Direction in a Dramatic Program or Series for the episode "Noise". In 2011 he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Art Direction for a Miniseries or Movie for his work on the The Kennedys miniseries. It reunited him with La Femme Nikita Executive Consultant Joel Surnow and frequent La Femme Nikita director Jon Cassar, composer Sean Callery, and producer Jamie Paul Rock.
During the course of the series, an image of a bandana clad Matteo would appear on screen among a database of suspected terrorists.
A special feature on the La Femme Nikita Season Three DVD set called "Designing Nikita" focused on Matteo's work on the series.
